FLYGRAF PILOT FRENCH AIR FORCE
OFFICIAL PILOT's WATCH OF THE FRENCH AIR FORCE
Born of YEMA's partnership with the men and women who serve French skies, the Flygraf Pilot French Air Force is a pilot's watch built in the spirit of the cockpit: clean, legible, and unmistakably military. Its 38.5mm stainless-steel case wears a four-tone sandblasted camouflage, each pattern blasted to a different depth, the darker tones rougher and the lighter ones finer, so the texture reads as sharply on the wrist as it does against the sky.
COCKPIT DIAL
A finely grained grey dial sets the tone, matt enough to cut glare, textured enough to feel like equipment. Bold applied numerals in matt black, edged in white and charged with Super-LumiNova BGW9, sit above a white printed minute track on a darker lower zone. At six o'clock, the scavenger emblem of the French Air Force is rendered in its official blue, white and red, a small badge of belonging that anchors the whole design. Matt black hour and minute hands carry the same BGW9 glow. The seconds hand sweeps in white with a signal-red tip, marking the rhythm of the movement and pointing, always, to the next minute.
CAMOUFLAGE, FORGED IN METAL
The 38.5mm stainless-steel case (8.90mm thick, 19mm lugs) is finished with an IP-gun military pattern. This camouflage finish isn't painted on, it's built into the metal. A double ion-plating (IP) process lays a deep gunmetal base, then a second pass for the camouflage lines, both bonded inside a vacuum chamber for real depth and lasting durability. A domed 2.00mm K1 mineral crystal arches over the dial for a vintage pilot-watch profile and everyday resilience. A pushed crown, IP-gun finished to match the case and stamped with an embossed YEMA signature, completes the monolithic, tactical look.
FRENCH AIR FORCE CASE BACK
The 316L stainless steel, circular-brushed case back, sandblasted at its centre, carries the embossed insignia of the French Air Force.
SWEEPING PRECISION
At its heart beats the Seiko VH31 quartz calibre, driving a true sweeping seconds hand: the accuracy and ease of quartz with the fluid motion of a mechanical watch. Hours, minutes and seconds, nothing more than you need, exactly when you need it.
SUPER-LUMINOVA
When the light drops, all twelve numerals and the three hands ignite in the cool blue of Super-LumiNova BGW9. Full legibility, day or night, on the ground or in the air.
FRENCH AIR FORCE OFFICIAL STRAP
A black woven Cordura-type nylon strap gives the Flygraf Pilot its cockpit-ready stance, accented with an embroidered French cocarde, the tricolour roundel worn on the nation's aircraft. It closes on a stainless-steel buckle, vertically brushed with a polished bevel and engraved with the YEMA signature.
