NEW MODERNIZED DESIGN

For almost 2 years, we have imagined and worked on an evolution of the Superman model. Our desire was to bring to this mythical model of our collection, technical improvements and a modernized construction while preserving its iconic design.

CROWN, BEZEL & BEZEL-LOCK NEW ARCHITECTURE

The bezel-lock, the Superman’s centerpiece which design was patented a long-time ago, and the crown tube have been redesigned to ensure a smoother operation and that the bezel-lock stays securely in place.

The bezel and the crown have also been redesigned. New micro drilling in strategic areas of the case right under the bezel allows for optimized rotation of the bezel click spring and a more precise alignment of the bezel insert.

The winding crown's architecture has been completely reviewed. The crown tube and the winding stem have been modified to provide a smoother operation of the various pull-out crown positions and rotating directions when adjusting the caliber functions. When winding and setting the time of the Superman, the improved crown provides a feeling of stability and quality.

PROFESSIONAL DIVING WATCH 500M

Beyond its GMT functions, the Superman model is above all intended for diving professionals, now benefiting from an enhanced water resistance of 500m and technical improvements allowing it to adjust the bezel on the water surface when unlocking the bezel in the unscrewed crown position.

The 316L stainless steel case back thickness has been increased from 1.5mm to 2.2mm so as to achieve a 50 ATM water resistance. YEMA's historic crest, embossed with a hydraulic press, is now treated by various microblasting processes, which results in a more accurate and precise finishing.

NEW BEZEL ARCHITECTURE, BEZEL LOCK & CROWN

The bezel stopper, the centerpiece of the Superman, patented at the time by the brand, has been redesigned to ensure a better fit between the crown tube and the bezel stopper. The latter is therefore more stable.

To do this, we had to redesign all of the bezel and crown components. Additional bores at the bezel have been made allowing for optimized travel of the pawl spring and more precise alignment of the bezel insert.

The crown architecture has been completely reworked. The length of the tube between the crown and the bezel lock has been modified, giving it better notching and better stability. When winding and setting the time, in the unscrewed position, the crown provides a feeling of solidity and high quality.

SUPER-LUMINOVA GRADE A

The markers, hands and bezel are treated with Super-LumiNova Grade A to ensure increased readability.The bezel’s luminescent marker at 12 o’clock and the luminescent arrow-shaped minute hand provide scuba divers with an accurate indication of dive times in poor visibility conditions at the greatest depths. The luminescent 24-hour scale on the bezel and the luminescent hands facilitate reading of the three time zones in all situations.

IN-HOUSE CALIBER GMT YEMA3000

The second-generation GMT In-house Caliber YEMA3000 is powered by optimised components yielding slightly better performance than similar Standard Grade calibers, offering a Daily Rate of +/- 10 s/d and a power reserve of 42h.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange or return any regular priced new timepiece, for a store credit, within 10 days of receiving the product.

The cost of shipping will be deducted from your total credit. All purchases, accessories, serial numbered security tags (if provided), and packing materials must be in new condition to avoid refusal of the returned merchandise.  Any sale, vintage / pre-owned or discounted items will be FINAL SALE.
