STUNNING QUALITY OF EXECUTION

The steel case takes the form of an asymmetrical octagon. We have used the complex case geometry to our advantage by executing every single angle with the same set of alternating brushed-polished finishes, that captures the eye and gives great elegance and singularity to the case while preserving the marked sporting spirit.

The bezel is inspired by a YEMA Sous-Marine model from the 1980’s and is made from a single piece of stainless steel, yet it has three distinct finishes, with the top and bottom bevels featuring an elegant vertical brushing and an entirely polished transition where the bezel’s horizontal and vertical surfaces meet.

COMPACT & ROBUST CASE

The 316L steel case with a diameter of 40.5 mm is intended to be ultra-compact thanks to its small lugs. The circular brushed finish of the case is in perfect harmony with the detail and texture of the dial, while the polished edges bring finesse and elegance to the overall design of the watch.

HIGH-VISIBILITY DIAL

The dial offers perfect readability thanks to its oversized 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock indices. Its dissociated and inclined railroad, in contrast with the color of the dial, also reinforces this essential element for professional diving watches.

UNIDIRECTIONAL ROTATING BEZEL

The unidirectional and notched rotating bezel of the YEMA Sous Marine has 120 clicks, which allows it to be adjusted perfectly according to the diving times. All of its indices as well as its triangular-shaped marker at 12 o'clock are treated with a Super Luminova treatment for perfect readability even in the darkest conditions in deep water.

A key feature of a diving watch, the screw-in case back of the YEMA Sous Marine offers a water resistance of 300 meters. YEMA's historic crest, embossed with a hydraulic press, is now treated by various microblasting processes, which results in a more accurate and precise finishing.

The markers, hands and bezel markers are treated with SUPER-LUMINOVA® BGW9 to ensure increased readability.

The Rallygraf ALPINE Endurance Team has been exclusively designed and developed for the French racing team set to compete in FIA's ​​World Endurance Championship (WEC). All YEMA x ALPINE Endurance Team collection models are worn by drivers, mechanics and members of the team during race-days on the legendary racing circuits of 24 Hours of Le Mans, SPA-Francorchamps and Monza among others.

TIME INSTRUMENT INSPIRED FROM HISTORIC CAR RACING

Full of 1970's racing charm and character, the bi-directional bezel with aluminum insert enables car racing drivers to calculate average speed (in km/h) in combination with the elapsed time graduation of the internal bezel. 

ALPINE ENDURANCE TEAM SIGNATURE

ALPINE's iconic A logo is elegantly placed as a counterweight to the sweeping second hand and engraved on the crown, while ALPINE's Endurance Team logo enjoys high visibility at 6 o'clock in the dial.

ICONIC RETRO STEEL CASE

This new 39mm steel case inspires from a YEMA historic model from the 80's. The bezel seems to float on a flat surface while the angular lugs reinforce the retro look. The polished finish of the bevelled case are in contrast with the brushed finish of the case.

YEMA2000 IN-HOUSE CALIBER

Powered by optimised components yielding slightly better performance than similar Standard Grade calibers, offering a Daily Rate of +/- 10 s/d and a power reserve of 42h.

SUPER-LUMINOVA

The hands and hour markers are coated with a layer of Super-LumiNova C1 offering perfect readability in the dark.

This Swiss caliber renowned for its reliability is adjusted by our watchmakers to 3 positions to an accuracy of -/+ 7 seconds.

FAITHFUL REISSUE

The 39mm Superman Heritage is the only modern Superman model that has preserved the aesthetic and vintage aspect of the vintage model while incorporating functional characteristics of contemporary professional diving watches.

The polished steel case has been redesigned in 3D based on the original 1970s model, ref. 53.00.16, then slightly modified to accommodate a high-precision Swiss movement, the ETA 2824-2 in Élaboré Grade.

ICONIC'S 53.00.16 CASE IN POLISHED STEEL 316L

With this reissue we faithfully recreated the iconic polished steel case of the Superman ref. 53.00.16 with its long slightly curved pierced lugs. The polished steel crown gives a minimalist and elegant appearance to the whole.

HISTORIC DIVE BEZEL

The unidirectional black aluminum diver's bezel graduated from 0 to 60 min. features the same vintage look as the original model from the 1970s.

The Superman bezel lock at 3 o'clock has proven very useful for professional divers and is found on all Superman models since 1963.

SUPER-LUMINOVA

The Superman Heritage is treated with Super-LumiNova® C3 to ensure increased readability in the dark. The luminescent zero-mark on the graduated bezel and the luminescent arrow-shaped minute hand provide the diver with an accurate indication of the dive time in poor visibility conditions at the greatest depths.

DOUBLE DOME SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

The Superman Heritage features a high-quality double-domed sapphire crystal 2.60 mm thick, offering increased scratch resistance (Mohs scale 9 - Diamond 10) and a resolutely vintage appearance while facilitating reading of the dial when underwater.

The notion of time is essential for the French Navy personnel, all the more so when on a military operation spanning several time zones. Designed for purpose, the new Navygraf Marine Nationale GMT is a military grade tool watch developed jointly with the French Navy.

A major evolution of YEMA's 1960s iconic model, the new Superman 500 is the worthy heir to its predecessors. Equipped with our In-house Caliber YEMA2000 and for the first time water resistant to 500m, this enhanced Superman benefits from a modernized architecture and substantial technical improvements that positions it as the ultimate French professional diver's watch.

BEZEL & BEZEL-LOCK NEW ARCHITECTURE

The bezel-lock, the Superman’s centerpiece which design was patented a long-time ago, and the crown tube have been redesigned to ensure a smoother operation and that the bezel-lock stays securely in place.

The bezel and the crown have also been redesigned. New micro drilling in strategic areas of the case right under the bezel allows for optimized rotation of the bezel click spring and a more precise alignment of the bezel insert.

ENHANCED WINDING CROWN

The winding crown's architecture has been completely reviewed. The crown tube and the winding stem have been modified to provide a smoother operation of the various pull-out crown positions and rotating directions when adjusting the caliber functions. When winding and setting the time of the Superman, the improved crown provides a feeling of stability and quality.

A new arrangement of the winding crown seals makes the Superman benefit from a 3 bar water resistance with the crown unscrewed. This enables bezel rotation on the water surface before starting a scuba diving descent, to ensure accurate dive times.

MORE RESISTANT DOUBLE DOMED SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

The new double domed sapphire crystal offers better readability, increased resistance and a resolute vintage look.

The crystal has been reduced by 0.3mm on its height and widened by 0.6mm on its outside diameter so as to provide a better seating in the case, while preserving its 2.6mm in thickness and the beautiful magnifying effect when looking through it from an angle.

50 ATM CASE BACK

The 316L stainless steel case back thickness has been increased from 1.5mm to 2.2mm so as to achieve a 50 ATM water resistance. YEMA's historic crest, embossed with a hydraulic press, is now treated by various microblasting processes, which results in a more accurate and precise finishing.

SUPER-LUMINOVA GRADE A

The markers, hands and bezel are treated with Super-LumiNova Grade A to ensure increased readability.

The bezel’s luminescent marker at 12 o’clock and the luminescent arrow-shaped minute hand provide scuba divers with an accurate indication of dive times in poor visibility conditions at the greatest depths.

The 316L stainless steel case back thickness has been increased from 1.5mm to 2.2mm so as to achieve a 50 ATM water resistance. YEMA's historic crest, embossed with a hydraulic press, is now treated by various microblasting processes, which results in a more accurate and precise finishing.

The markers, hands and bezel are treated with Super-LumiNova Grade A to ensure increased readability.

NEW IMPROVED DESIGN

For almost 2 years, we have worked on a substantial evolution of the Superman model, by bringing technical improvements and a modernized architecture to this legendary YEMA model, while preserving its iconic design.

BEZEL & BEZEL-LOCK NEW ARCHITECTURE

The bezel-lock, the Superman’s centerpiece which design was patented a long-time ago, and the crown tube have been redesigned to ensure a smoother operation and that the bezel-lock stays securely in place.

The bezel and the crown have also been redesigned. New micro drilling in strategic areas of the case right under the bezel allows for optimized rotation of the bezel click spring and a more precise alignment of the bezel insert.

ENHANCED WINDING CROWN

The winding crown's architecture has been completely reviewed. The crown tube and the winding stem have been modified to provide a smoother operation of the various pull-out crown positions and rotating directions when adjusting the caliber functions. When winding and setting the time of the Superman, the improved crown provides a feeling of stability and quality.

A new arrangement of the winding crown seals makes the Superman benefit from a 3 bars water resistance with the crown unscrewed. This enables bezel rotation on the water surface before starting a scuba diving descent, to ensure accurate dive times.

MORE RESISTANT DOUBLE DOMED SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

The new double domed sapphire crystal offers better readability, increased resistance and a resolute vintage look.
