The integrated minimalist design of the Defakto Kinetik has the aim to visually emphasize the interaction of transiting watch hands. The idea was to create an automatic watch that constantly generates repeating kinetic constellations.
The Defakto Kinetik connects all three watch-hands to the ETA 2824-2 automatic swiss movement via three identical disks. The sweeping second brings continuous movement to the setup. Due to the look through ability of the watch-hands the watch offers a very good readability.
Designed with the same lineweight the angular, skeletonized watch-hands constantly frame indexes, create symmetrical pattern or interlace if superimposed.
The in-house manufactured, compact, three-piece stainless steel Ickler watchcase comes with a slightly brushed texture and has a diameter of 39 mm. The matte unicolor background of the dial contrasts sharply to the separated minute and hour indexes in contrary color.
